Dr. Burton spoke at the historic Allen Temple Baptist Church in
Oakland, California on February 3. Dr. J. Alfred
Smith, pastor of Allen Temple, is an influential
community leader, seminary professor and author, who
has positively impacted the African-American
community and beyond. |

Andrews University |

| |
Dr. Burton and the
2000 Years of Christianity team presented a
series of presentations at Andrews University on
February 7-9. The team was led by Dr. Charles
Bradford, and featured presentations by Drs.
Harold Lee, Bertram Melbourne, and Emory Tolbert. A
special addition to the list of presenters was Craig
Keener, co-author of Defending Black Faith
and Black Man's Religion. |
